This web site is an initiative of the Yeoval and District Progress Association and is operated in association with the non-for-profit group of the "Yeoval and Districts Progress Association" for the community of Yeoval and surround districts.
We believe this is an exciting initiative with the potential to contribute economically and socially to our town. This web site will help build stronger networks within our community and promote and connect Yeoval with other surrounding communities.
The Yeoval & Districts Community Website will contain local business and community directories, and will be used to promote tourism, and festivals and events within Yeoval and surrounding districts. The site will also include a local news board and a community feedback facility and community groups will be able to co-ordinate their events by using the calendar.
It is our vision to see our community web site provide a single point on the internet for which to access information about Yeoval, along with an online presence for promoting Yeoval tourist attractions, and a place for the community groups, clubs and business of our township to develop their own web page for very little cost.
Yeoval & District Community groups are invited to submit information about their activities for inclusion on the site and are encouraged to send details of events for the calendar. Please use the Contact Us page or leave details at the Yeoval Information Centre in the yellow website box.
It is hoped that our site will help to attract new businesses to the district, increasing employment opportunities and our economic sustainability, while also further developing our town's infrastructure.
The Yeoval & Districts Community Website has been created by Melanie Lees of West Business Solutions on behalf of the Yeoval & Districts Progress Association.
The yeoval.com.au web site is managed and maintained by volunteer Melanie Lees of West Business Solutions for no profit on behalf of the Yeoval and District Progress Association, and will evolve in response to the community's needs and input.
How Can You Be Involved?
In order for the website to be successful, it needs the support of groups and individuals from within our community. The Yeoval and Districts Progress Association has provided the framework - now it is up to members of our community to bring it to life!
